Cate Random is what I do. Cath Holland is who I am.
For me, life is about exploration, experiences, and learning. Publications such as National Geographic and GEO have inspired me since I was child, and I hope that my photography and writing will inspire others. My interests include the natural world, scuba diving, built/modified environments, customs, belief systems, and culture.
I am a travel and documentary photographer and writer, with a background in earth and environmental sciences. I have been travelling since before I was born and still marvel at the diversity in every aspect of this planet we live on.
My aim is to use my photography, scientific knowledge, and writing skills to inform, educate, and amaze people about the world we live in.
My favourite quote: “the more that you know, the more you realise you have yet to learn”
